We were privileged to have the First Coast High School Choir perform at our December monthly meeting.  Under the leadership of director John Larsen, the choir sang many favorite Christmas carols, as well as, a few that were new to us.  We even did a sing- along on one carol. The twenty-one students from First Coast High School sang in perfect harmony. 

Director Larsen explained that the choir had just returned from Disney world where they performed.  Each of the choir members told us their name, what year of school they were in, and what they planned to do after high school. As usual, the choir brought a special Christmas blessing to our club.

We were also privileged to have Dr. Robbie Smith and two of her boys from the Safe Harbor Boys Home. Every year we invite them to speak with us about what has been going on at the home the past year.  Ms Robbie explained that the home is experience the same economical hard times that the rest of us are feeling.  However, they have been blessed with another successful year of working with the boys.  

Present with Dr. Robbie Smith were Adam and Eric who were shy about talking about their life at the home. But, you could tell they were happy with life at Safe harbor Boys Home.  We presented the home with many gifts that our members had brought for their Christmas.  We also presented the home with a cash contribution.  Dr, Robbie and the boys were thankful.
