Event Calendar

The Northside Business Leaders meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month.  We meet in the Samburu Room at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens at 370 Zoo Parkway lunch is $15 and no reservations are necessary just show up. Networking begins at 11:30 am, lunch is served at 11:45am and the business meeting lasts from 12-1pm, visitors welcome.

All Board Meetings are on the Fourth Tuesday of the month and begin at 11:45am, at the Jacksonville Zoo Board Room.

Ed Garland

St. Johns River Water Management District

Ed Garland is a Communications Specialist with the St. Johns River Water Management District. He has been with the District for 11 years and he is responsible for communicating the District’s mission through writing, public speaking and social media. He is a former reporter for Florida Today, where he wrote a weekly column and covered assignments throughout Brevard County. He has also worked for newspapers in Maine and New Hampshire, his native state. He has lived in Florida since 1993.
