1939- 2009
Senator King was a friend of Florida, Jacksonville and the Northside Business Leaders. He reached out to make this a better place to live. Always considering there is two sides to a story and lets make it best for all if possible. In 2002 the Northside Business Leaders Elected Senator King to be the "Elected Official of the Year". He spoke to our group many times and was always a friend speaking to friends. Senator King and "Jim" will be missed. He always seemed to rather have you call him "Jim", and that was special to me. Jim was a statesman, a family man and was taken away from us to early! God Bless Your Family and give them strength to carry on in the days ahead. Paul |
